So What’s the Goal Here?
Self-respect. In steps:
Reduction of activities and possessions, to simplify.
Simplified living to enhance focus and energy and health.
Focus, energy and health to develop our self-employment.
Sufficient income to sustain us as we age.
The means to give back to the world.
I don’t mean to make it sound so dry. The process itself is a happy path to take.
Each day I ask myself if the activities which are scheduled will contribute to our chosen path and goal. Right now there is a lot of simplifying and reduction. Today I set up a new way to do our bookkeeping, much more streamlined than our previous method. Of course our current financial situation is as minimal as it can get, so there’s a jump start.
Every step, no matter how small, is a step, and its own reward.
